All You Need To Know About Non-Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation

As a result of the normal aging process, or due to the physical stress of pregnancy and childbirth, a woman’s vaginal tissue may soften and stretch. In certain women, this weakening may lead to vaginal laxity that reduces physical sensation in intimacy and/or leads to urinary incontinence. This can contribute to countless other problems, including discomfort, inability to orgasm, genital pain, etc. being a doctor; we know that how much the side effects of vaginal laxity impact a women’s life. So, we offer various solutions to this issue including Non-Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation and minimally invasive treatments.

Non-Surgical Vaginal Tightening

Non-surgical vaginal tightening is categorized into two subcategories such as; the Viveve Solution and vaginal tightening with PRP (platelet-rich plasma)/PRF (platelet-rich fibrin).

The Viveve solution works deeply on the cell level – without intervention or skin deterioration to regenerate and preserve collagen inside the vaginal tissue. Viveve is the first system of its kind that combines surface cooling with in-depth heating by radiofrequency. This enables the procedure to reach deeply into the vaginal tissue, which offers a solution for the vaginal laxity in one session.

PRP/PRF is another vaginal tightening method in which we use patients’ platelet-rich fibrin or platelet-rich plasma derived from their blood. Then inject this into targeted vaginal areas (such as the ‘O shot’ clitoris, the vaginal wall, and urethra, based on the particular needs and the problems). Plasma and fibrin are injected into specific areas to encourage good skin cell recovery and collagen formation, thus restore sensation, tighten the vaginal tissue and improve incontinence problems.

Am I a good candidate for this procedure?

If you feel, you have lost laxity in your most intimate areas; you can be a good candidate for a vaginal tightening procedure. But, you must not be pregnant currently or breastfeeding.

We cannot use the Viveve Solution on anyone with a pacemaker, vaginal wax sore or STD, or anyone with a uterine prolapsed beyond the hymenal ring.

For vaginal rejuvenation with PRP/PRF, we cannot do this if you have a sore in the treatment area or active infection, metastatic disease, or other skin diseases, the platelet count is low, and if you have any blood or bleeding disorders.

Preparation For Vaginal Tightening

For non-surgical vaginal tightening, no special preparations are necessary. For PRP/PRF, we just suggest drinking enough fluids to get a decent quantity of blood before you take treatment. It is safest to wait until the menstrual period is done before your appointment is scheduled.
