- The retired life is only as good as one makes it out to be. Settling down in a place with nothing to do will get boring rather fast. Great residential facilities will have activities worth being a part of. Find a place that has daily activities that fit what your loved ones likes to do for fun.
- Interact with and talk with staff. If they are friendly and are willing to talk back to you, then you know that they will have the same care for your family member. Look at the patient-to-staff ratio. If it is offset, then you can be sure the care aspect of the place is going to suffer.
